- My understanding (and experience) is that serial does quite well, but your
- maximum baud drops as you increase distance. I don't have the numbers handy,
- but at a job I had in southern CA, we ran quite a distance at 9600 buad (not
- quite 30 meters, though). Someone somewhere should have the actual figures.
